Herd Men’s Hoops Hits the Road for Contest at Duquesne
The Marshall University men's basketball team (7-1) carries a seven-game win streak up I-79 to Pittsburgh for a road contest against the Duquesne Dukes (7-1) on Thursday.

Taevion Kinsey has scored 20 or more points in five of the team's first eight games. His 20.5 points per game rank 20th most in the country and to lead the SBC. The Columbus, Ohio, native also leads the conference with 5.4 assists per game, 35th most in the country.
Freshman Micah Handlogten is averaging 2.62 blocks per game on 21 rejections this season sitting 13th and 16th, respectively, in the country.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE
The Dukes, like the Herd, enter Thursday on a win streak. Since falling to then fourth-ranked Kentucky on November 11, Duquesne has rattled off six consecutive victories, including a buzzer-beating shot on Saturday to takedown Ball State 78-77.
DU is 22-5 in its last 27 home games, despite playing those contests at five different arenas.
Dae Dae Grant leads the Dukes at 19.0 points per game while shooting .527 percent from the field, including .547 percent from behind the arc.
