Marshall University Center of Excellence for Recovery, in collaboration with Terzetto Creative LLC, will unveil a new data dashboard on April 2. The launch coincides with Prevention Day at the Legislature, providing a preview of the platform, which aims to enhance access to crucial county and regional-level data for improving behavioral health.

The dashboard, developed to support community-wide efforts, is designed to offer accurate and current data to help communities in assessment and planning. Dr. Tammy Collins, associate director for the Center of Excellence for Recovery, emphasized the resource's broad utility. “The availability of this centralized data resource will benefit a wide range of users, from local leaders to public health professionals, providing a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting community well-being,” she stated. Collins added that the goal is to support informed decision-making and improve the efficacy of community strategies.

The dashboard will be available through a link announced on Prevention Day. The Center encourages following their Facebook page for instant access to the tool. Additionally, they will conduct a virtual training session on August 20 at 1 p.m. to aid users in effectively navigating and utilizing the data. Interested individuals can register for the session online.

The initiative receives partial funding from a FFY 2023 Congressional Directive Spending Projects FG-22-099 SAMSHA Grant awarded to Marshall University Research Corporation.
