Altizer Elementary School has been named an Apple Distinguished School for 2022–2025. Altizer is being recognized for its innovative use of technology as a tool to empower students to take ownership over their learning and create a positive culture of creativity for all students and staff. The school is located at 250 3rd Street in Huntington, WV.

Altizer Elementary utilizes Apple technology to create opportunities for choice and differentiation. 100% of the school's teachers are certified Apple Teachers.
