Tickets are now available for the seventh annual TEDxMarshallU event, themed "Beyond Borders." The event is set to take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center in Huntington.

General admission tickets are priced at $20, while university and K-12 students can attend for $5. Those interested in attending can find more information and purchase tickets by visiting www.tedxmarshallu.com. Due to limited seating, tickets may not be available at the door on the night of the event. This year's theme aligns with Marshall University's 2024-2025 Higher Learning Commission's Quality Initiative titled "Building a Stronger and More Inclusive Marshall Community."

The TEDxMarshallU team has selected speakers who will explore various interpretations of this year's theme. Evan Green, a former speaker and current team curation coordinator, expressed his enthusiasm: “I’m honored to be working with such an incredible team for this year’s event,” he said. “As we continue our curation process, we’re working diligently to create the most engaging TEDxMarshallU event we possibly can.”

TEDxMarshallU is organized by students with guidance from faculty mentors. The current team includes five student interns: Evan Green as co-organizer and curation coordinator; Maggie Piaskowski as event manager; Baylee Parsons as communications director and designer; Luke Jeffrey handling sponsorships, purchasing, and budgets; and Maleah Majakey managing social media.
