Orthopaedic specialists join Marshall Health Network

Marshall Health Network has announced the addition of three specialists to its orthopaedic team. Moses A. Adebayo, M.D., Suhirad Khokhar, M.D., and Lauren D. Inners, D.O., bring their expertise in orthopaedic surgery and primary care sports medicine to the network.

Moses A. Adebayo is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on joint replacement, reconstruction, and trauma. He completed his medical education at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C. His further training includes fellowships in orthopaedic trauma at WellSpan York Hospital in Pennsylvania and adult reconstruction at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York.

Adebayo is currently accepting new patients and referrals at Scott Orthopedic Center located at 2828 First Avenue in Huntington.

Suhirad Khokhar specializes in hand, elbow, shoulder surgery, and orthopaedic trauma. He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab, India. His advanced training involved fellowships in hand surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida; orthopaedic trauma at Wright State University in Ohio; and shoulder and elbow surgery at Montefiore University Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Khokhar is available for new patients and referrals at Marshall Orthopaedics on 1600 Medical Center Drive in Huntington as well as Teays Valley.

Lauren D. Inners focuses on diagnosing and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports-related injuries. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh before earning her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency was completed at Abington Jefferson Health with a subsequent fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Inners is also accepting new patients by appointment or walk-in visits at Scott Orthopedic Center.

Beyond their clinical duties, Adebayo, Inners, and Khokhar have been appointed assistant professors of orthopaedic surgery at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine where they will contribute to clinical training activities and academic programs.
