The City of Huntington's Code Enforcement Division would like to remind the public that per Article 1751.14 of the City Code, it is prohibited to post advertising signs on telephone poles, electric poles, lamp posts, trees and fences on a public right-of-way.
Signs will be removed and businesses will receive a warning. Repeated violations will result in a citation. Residents can report these signs by using the free Huntington WV 311 app for iPhone and Android devices or by using the Huntington WV 311 online portal at www.cityofhuntington.com.
