As she mentions in her post below, this special unit is the first of its kind in the state of West Virginia and one of the first in the United States. While here, Sheryl and her family had an opportunity to have open and vulnerable conversations with members of our MOMS program about the incredible support they've received while in our care.
We are grateful to Marshall University President Brad Smith for inviting Sheryl and her family to Huntington to showcase the breadth of services we offer our community. The compassion and kindness these special guests demonstrated to our patients will never be forgotten.
