Curbside Recycling Update

We are just one month away from residential curbside recycling launching on Oct. 1 in the City of Huntington!

Approximately 1,100 households have already signed up for the voluntary service, which will be provided by Rumpke Waste & Recycling. Rumpke also is handling the billing and customer service for the program.

Many of you have received bills in the mail from Rumpke for the first six months of service and a delivery fee for the 95-gallon recycling container. Payments can be made at rumpkepayment.com or by calling 1-800-828-8171, Extension 8755.

Recycling containers will be delivered to households the week of September 19. Rumpke currently is in the process of developing routes, so information regarding days of service for your neighborhood will be announced in the near future.

If you have not yet signed up for the service, call 1-800-828-8171, Extension 8755 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and tell the agent you want to sign up for the Huntington Recycles program. Remember, if you sign up before Oct. 1, you will receive a $10 discount on the delivery fee for your recycling container. Those who sign up after Oct. 1 will pay a $20 delivery fee for their container.
