The City of Huntington offers the following free drop-off locations for disposal of Christmas trees:
1.) Saint Cloud Commons upper parking lot.
2.) Harris Riverfront Park upper parking lot.
3.) Altizer Community Park.
4.) Former Olympic Pool site along Memorial Boulevard.
5.) Deitz Hollow drop-off site in Guyandotte.
6.) Parking lot of the old League 6 baseball field on Ferguson Road.
Residents are discouraged from disposing of their Christmas trees with their household garbage. Tree sap can potentially damage mechanical parts of the packer trucks.
