Great news for the City of Milton!
Great news for the City of Milton! Senator Joe Manchin announced $109.7 million from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the Lower Mud River Flood Risk Management Project in Milton, W.Va. This funding was made possible through the Fiscal Year 2023 Omnibus. The project is designed to protect over 600 structures, including residences and businesses, from flood risk.
Senator Joe Manchin III, Senator Bob Plymale, Congresswoman Carol Miller Delegate Daniel Linville, Councilman Bob Legg, representatives of the City of Milton, Cabell County Magistrate Kim Wolfe, and several others were in attendance today for the celebration.
